Chakradar Mahotsav

For the last 17 years, ‘NaadAura’, an organization dedicated to cultural conservation and promotion, has been organizing national and international events on various festivals. In which musical tribute to Pandit Anokhe Lal Mishra ji (109 years) and Pandit Chhote Lal Mishra ji (83 years) of Banaras Gharana is committed with the aim of preserving and popularizing the ancient heritage! In which eminent artists of the country have graced this stage, the organization has also honored them! At the same time, the organization has also provided a platform to budding artists.

Honoring the special and rare composition used in Tabla, Pakhawaj and dance, ‘Chakradar Mahotsav’ has been conceptualized, which till now has always been waiting for such a festival, because various programs related to singing have always been organized.

For example Malhar festival, Basant festival, Kajri festival, Thumri festival, Bhakti festival, Dhrupad festival etc. Chakradar is a special composition in Tabla and Pakhawaj… Chakradar’s source of origin is Tihai. .. If seen, the big and developed form of the third is Chakradar… which can be seen in ordinary Chakradar, Farmaishi Chakradar, Kamali Chakradar and Nauhakka. In the present times, hardly any artist has remained untouched by Chakradar in musical performance… Be it Tantra instrument artist or singing style, knowingly or unknowingly they use it. From a philosophical point of view, Chakradar means circumambulation. Even if you want to circumambulate a holy place, there is a law to do it 3 times. Three have special significance in Indian culture, be it electron, proton or neutron or Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. Bholenath’s favorite weapon Trishul is also of three heads. Trishul is the symbol of three gunas Sattva, Raj and Tama. It is difficult to operate the universe without creating harmony between these three. That’s why Shiva held these three qualities in his hands in the form of a trident. It is seen as creation, nurturer and destruction. Along with past, present and future, it is also considered an indicator of earth, heaven and underworld. These three sorrows, physical, divine and physical, are known as Tritap. Also the goddesses are three Lakshmi, Saraswati and Parvati. Similarly, number 3 has special importance in the special creations of Tabla, Pakhawaj and Nritya, which is inspired by the philosophy of life. Which is reflected in various lyrical and poetic compositions in Chakradar.

Honoring the traditional and rare composition of Tabla and Pakhawaj, on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence last year, with the special cooperation of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, a three-day ‘Chakradar Mahotsav’ in the form of a third by the cultural organization ‘Nadaora’ on the musical instrument which is unique in the history of music. ‘ For the first time a grand event was organized … under which a two-day national ‘Chakradar Mahotsav’ of pure classical music on the banks of the Ramghat Ghat Mandakini river under the joint auspices of Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi to create cultural diversity and new environment in Chitrakoot. While a grand event took place, the one-day Chakradar Mahotsav was the center of attraction at the Triveni Auditorium in Delhi. The compositions of Tabla and Pakhawaj, in particular, have not only gained special strength from this event, along with the importance of various gharanas, immense fame, many new possibilities and new directions have also been gained!
